Announcing the 2011 photo contest! The 2010-2011 Ponds & Water Gardens USA Annual provides more than 99 tips for creating your water features. Show us what you came up with through photos of your pond and water feature projects while in progress and when completed. Once you finish your pond, you can share pictures of your new and improved water features with other hobbyists! You might end up on the pages of Ponds USA & Water Gardens for all to see.

Show us pictures of construction or renovation and of your completed project. Tell us how long it took to build or update and how many people were involved.
Water Garden Geometry
This category is as much about your camera eye as it is about your beautiful water feature. Capture the curves, ovals, angles and other geometric figures that make your water garden or pond unique. Oval lily pads, curving plant stems, rectangular flagstone, concentric circles on the water surface — it’s all fair game. Photos will be judged on quality, geometry and ability to combine multiple elements in one frame (water, shore, lily pads, etc.).
Winners
A first and second winner in each category will receive prizes from contest sponsor Laguna Water Gardening.
Contest Rules
1. All entries must be postmarked by Sept. 30, 2010.
2. This contest is not open to employees of BowTie Inc. and Rolf C. Hagen (USA) Corp./ Laguna Water Gardening.
3. Only clear, high-quality prints or high-resolution digital images (300 dpi) will be accepted. Label each photo with your name and address, or include this information with digital images. Do not use staples or paper clips. Ponds USA & Water Gardens and Rolf C. Hagen (USA) Corp./Laguna Water Gardening are not responsible for lost or damaged entries. Limit your entries to no more than three (3) images per category.
4. A photocopy of the completed entry form or all information from the form must accompany each submission.
5. Entries become the property of Fancy Publications, a division of BowTie Inc. The company cannot confirm receipt or return entries and may use them for any purpose. By submitting your photograph to this photo contest, you agree that if you win the contest, your contact information will be given to contest sponsors, who may use the information for marketing purposes.
6. Do not telephone Ponds USA & Water Gardens offices regarding the contest. The winners will be notified.
7. A panel of judges and the editors of Ponds USA & Water Gardens will select the winners.
8. The winning entries will appear in the 2011 edition of Ponds USA & Water Gardens, due out in February 2011. Good luck!
